Pressure Reducing valves, better known as P.R.V., is a device used for reducing the pressure of water in the pipe to the desired level at its actual points of use & thereafter, regulating it continually, on its own.
AIP RANGE OF PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES
WORKING PRINCIPLE OF P.R.V
P.R.V is a device to reduce the down stream pressure of water in a pipe line while countering any variations in the upstream pressure upto a maximum of 10% & keeping it at a constant level. Hence,it also has a provision of regulating the desired pressure with can be further controlled & adjusted.
Well suited choice for such applications as originating from mains to service pressure points such as those present in the high-rise buildings where performance & safety are the only valued parameters & also most suited for commercial contructions as well as for drip irrigation.
Most ideal for sensitive & a consistent fluid regulation.
Piston-operated, hence more reliable than conventional diaphragm type P.R.V.
